Christopher Rand is the latest addition to the E|SPACES Member Council, according to Jim Lackey, Chair of the Council. Christopher is a Co-Founder of TriStar Technology Ventures, which focuses on companies in the area of healthcare innovation. TriStar’s Technology Fund is one of the six initial TNInvestcos, set up to invest in Tennessee small and start-up businesses.
Prior to TriStar, Christopher was the Manager of New Venture Development in Vanderbilt’s Office of Technology Transfer and Enterprise Development. In that role, he was involved in licensing Vanderbilt intellectual property and working with start-up companies. He is a board member of the Nashville Capital Network, the Nashville Technology Council, and the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.
E|SPACES is a new work and meeting environment for mobile, connected professionals, many of whom will be entrepreneurs in start-up and early stage businesses. Conveniently located in the new Hill Center at Belle Meade, it provides professionals and small companies a business address and phone number, and a place to work and network, as well as an ideal place for meetings.
In his role on the Member Council, Christopher will provide feedback on all aspects of the E|SPACES experience. Prior to opening in July, the full Member Council will be in place to help E|SPACES redefine the concept of the office and meeting space for today’s new generation of professionals.
