E|SPACES, INC. is announcing today the expansion of its Belle Meade business center. The company launched in July 2010, with the opening of E|SPACES Belle Meade in the Hill Center, and added a Cool Springs location in the McEwen Building in February of this year. The expansion of the company’s first center reflects the rapid growth being experienced by E|SPACES.
E|SPACES provides work and meeting space for entrepreneurs and small businesses as well as large organizations. The contemporary, technology rich environment has proven to be very popular with people who often work out of home offices and coffee shops, as well as large organizations that need off-site meeting space.
“With E|SPACES’ growth approaching 200% over the last year, we are very excited to be able to serve more members and offer more amenities in Belle Meade,” said Phil Gibbs, CEO of E|SPACES.
The company will be taking over space that adjoins the existing E|SPACES in the Hill Center office building and will add approximately 3,200 square feet of work and meeting space.
“With this addition, we are especially pleased to be able to expand our model to include some dedicated space,” according to Josh Bowling, COO and CFO of E|SPACES. “We regularly receive requests for project rooms and dedicated space for small companies that are growing but also require the flexibility provided by an E|SPACES membership. We have had member companies outgrow our existing offerings and this new membership option will allow us to continue to meet our members’ evolving needs. The expanded space will have three larger rooms that can be used by project teams and small companies on a dedicated, longer-term basis.”
Recognizing that a person’s laptop, tablet or even smart phone, combined with cloud computing, serves the function of a traditional ‘office,’ E|SPACES is creating multiple centers that mobile workers can use as needed on a membership basis.
With an open, contemporary design incorporating a variety of workspaces, along with meeting and conference rooms, the centers are more like an exclusive airport lounge than a traditional office. In addition to free coffee, member amenities include enterprise grade wireless, copying and scanning, a business mailing address and conference rooms that are equipped with white boards and video displays for presentations and video conferencing.
With technology changing the way people are able to work and reluctance to sign five year leases, demand is growing rapidly for work places like E|SPACES. “While we ultimately hope to add at least one more center in Nashville, we will be looking at other entrepreneurial, business friendly cities like Nashville for our next expansion,” according to Gibbs. “The opportunity is huge and we feel like we are well positioned to roll this solution out across the country.”
