Mike Keith “The Voice of the Titans”

It is a beautiful Friday morning the end of July. You have to prepare for a presentation to a major healthcare client next week. Or maybe you have been up half the night working on a critical project. And what are you doing? OK, confess – surfing the internet looking for answers to questions about the upcoming NFL season!
Why not do some business development networking, enjoy a wonderful breakfast with the “Chef and I,” and hear directly from the Voice of the Titans, Mike Keith.
Join us Friday morning, July 27, from 7:30 to 9:00 AM at E|SPACES Cool Springs and hear Mike’s take on the Titans training camp as well as observations on the upcoming NFL season. And you can personally ask Mike your questions! In addition, Mark Howard, Frank Wycheck and Kevin Ingram from 104.5 The Zone’s Wake Up Zone will be broadcasting from E|SPACES.
Mike Keith has been named as Tennessee Sportscaster of the Year nine times since 2000, has won over 20 Associated Press state awards and has captured two national honors, including the industry’s most prestigious award: the Edward R. Murrow Award for nationwide excellence in sports reporting.
Prior to the Titans, Keith worked with the Vol Radio Network, WIVK Radio and WBIR-TV in Knoxville. In early 1998, the call came from Nashville to join the Mid-south’s new NFL team and become “The Voice of the Titans.”
It did not take long before Keith was recognized as one of the NFL’s most exciting announcers. In January of 2000, Keith called one of the greatest plays in NFL history, “The Music City Miracle,” a last-second touchdown that gave the Titans an improbable playoff win over Buffalo. In 2010, Sports Illustrated named Keith’s description of that historic play as one of the 30 greatest radio calls in American sports history.
Since that time, Keith has called many other great Titans moments, with his signature calls of “Touchdown Titans!” and “Sacked!” having become favorites of Titans fans everywhere.
In addition to his play-by-play duties, Keith hosts Mike Munchak’s weekly radio show, serves as host/executive producer of the Titans All Access television show, emcees all official Titans events, handles all logistics each spring for the annual Titans Caravan and works closely with the 50+ Titans Radio stations throughout the region.
A BGA and University of Tennessee alum, Keith lives in his hometown of Franklin with his wife of 22 years, Michelle, and their two children, Abby and Matthew.
