Parking
Parking is free. It is easily accessible and just steps away from the building lobby. And there is underground parking that is especially convenient on rainy days. Yes, even the underground parking is free.
Reception
Guests are greeted by our “host” and indicate on a monitor whether they are visiting a member or just visiting E|SPACES. If visiting a member, they click on the member’s name. A text or email notifies the member that a guest is in the reception area. Clicking on “Information” sends a message to a Concierge who will invite the guest to see the space.
Coffee, Tea & Water
Put away the debit card, it is free for members and their guests. We feature one-cup brewing of coffee, including specialty coffees, by FLAVIA. Or you may prefer a refreshing cup of tea, hot chocolate or water.
Work Spaces
Members choose the work space that fits their needs—a comfortable lounge chair with tablet arm, a café table, a casual “living room” setting, a work table for collaborating with colleagues, a quiet “phone booth”, a walk station, or even outside on the balcony. Distinction, informality, functionality and choice define member work spaces.
Wireless Internet & Electrical Plugs
If you hate those slooww, slooww download times at the coffee shop, or hovering over the only table with an electrical outlet, or being kicked off the wireless after an hour, welcome to E|SPACES. Members experience high-speed wireless throughout the space. And there are electrical outlets everywhere. We may be described as laid back and relaxed, but “unplugged” would not be an accurate description.
Meeting Rooms
You don’t have to love meetings to be a member of E|SPACES, but it is a great place to have great meetings. There is a large, private board/training room, two large conference rooms and two small conference rooms. They accommodate from 5 to 22 people, and the large rooms feature comfortable tablet-arm chairs. Of course there are open spaces throughout the center and on the balcony for semi-private meetings.
Voice and Video Conferencing
All meeting rooms are equipped for voice and video conferencing. Skype calls are easy to set up, but Concierges are always available to assist. Meeting rooms can be reserved in advance to assure availability, for a nominal fee.
Business Address & Mail Box
E|SPACES members have a prestigious business address that conveys professionalism. Member mailboxes are located just off the reception area and are accessible during business hours without having to enter the Members Only area.
Package Drop & Receiving
E|SPACES Concierges can accept and sign for UPS and FedEx packages. Express shipping supplies are available and drop boxes are located nearby.
Printing & Copying
E|SPACES members print from their laptops using the wireless connection, walk to the printer, enter a code and pick up their print job. They choose black and white or color, and print on plain paper or heavy stock. They can even print color postcards and saddle-stitch booklets. Black and white copies are included in the membership; color copies are around $0.20—less than half the typical cost.
Shredding
E|SPACES partners with Shred-it for secure shredding of confidential documents. Members simply drop documents to be shredded unto conveniently located, secure boxes. Security-screened representatives come to the center on a regular schedule and pick up the documents for shredding behind locked doors. It is convenient and secure…and no more page by page shredding.
Scanning
At E|SPACES, paperless work can become a reality. Members scan documents and file them virtually for easy access. Scanning is fast on the high-speed document feeder. Concierges will open and scan member mail, tossing junk mail. It is not for everyone, but can be especially useful for keeping up when members travel….no more sorting through stacks and stacks of mail after a stint on the road.
Business Phone Number & Unlimited Minutes
For most mobile, connected professionals, their cell phone is both a personal phone and business phone. Land lines are becoming obsolete along with snail mail. However, sometimes a “business” number is helpful, just like a “business” address. E|SPACES members receive a business phone number and calls go to voicemail or can be forwarded to the member’s cell phone. While members are in the center, handsets are available for both local and domestic long distance calls, all included in the membership.
Concierge Support
Concierges are available to welcome members and guests, to train members in the use of technology and assist with connecting to the wireless internet, connecting to the printer and setting up Skype calls. They also help to assure the space is always immaculate for members and guests. If members need more assistance, Concierges refer them to personal assistants, bookkeeping services, graphic designers and almost any business resource needed by members. Life is simplified.
Professional Development
E|SPACES Professional Development Series features presentations and panels on topics of interest to mobile, connected professionals, from writing a business plan, to interviewing skills, to using social media for marketing, as well as sales closing skills and outsourcing to India. And again, it is included with the membership.
Business Networking and Professional Collaboration
It you are totally into virtual relationships and networking, then E|SPACES may not be for you. We are the physical “water cooler” for mobile, connected professionals. Our open, casual environment encourages networking and even collaborative work. And we offer networking events to help build relationships among members.
