In this seminar, we will discuss some of these latest advances. Whether you are a small business owner or a pay-per-click expert, you can learn how to take advantage of these new features.

John has spoken at Search Engine Strategies, Search Marketing Expo, PubCon and many other marketing conferences. He is also co-founder of Sticky Sheep (www.stickysheep.com) where he discusses unique marketing ideas and strategies. As well as writing about search engine marketing on his blog, JohnWEllis.com, John is also is a frequent contributor to SearchEngineLand.com.

Jim Lackey Named Chair, Member Council – 85 Days

Jim Lackey, Chairman and former CEO of Passport Health Communication, www.passporthealth.com, has been named Chairman of the E|SPACES Member Council.  In this role, Jim will lead a group of members representing different segments of the E|SPACES membership.  The role of the council is to provide feedback on all aspects of the E|SPACES experience, provide suggestions for improving service and offerings, and promote this new concept of the office among colleagues.

As the leader of one of Nashville’s most successful healthcare technology companies, Jim put a premium on understanding and meeting customer needs.  Building on this experience, Jim will assist E|SPACES in becoming a customer, or member, focused company, meeting needs and exceeding expectations.

Jim will work with company leadership to put in place a 12 to 15 member council by the opening in July, only 85 days away!

Opening Countdown 91 Days

This is the first of 91 blog posts to count down to the opening of E|SPACES on July 1, 2010.  This blog will chronicle the life of entrepreneurs as we create and implement a new concept.  We will share the excitement and the anxiety of a new venture.  A lot of dreaming, planning and work have brought us to this point, and we still have a lot of work ahead of us, and hopefully more dreaming.

As you see on our Web site, E|SPACES represents a new paradigm of the office.  It is made possible because of advances in technology and communication.  Our target for this new concept is made up of what we call mobile, connected professionals.  They are people who work independently, and spend a lot of time in their cars and in coffee shops.

Four walls no longer define “the office”.  For mobile professionals, their office is their car, a hotel lobby or a coffee shop.  Their laptops and mobile communication devices allow them to be connected to anyone around the world.  The office as we know it, however, has not kept up with these changes.  E|SPACES addresses this new world of work.

Today was exciting and eventful.  We received revised pricing on our space build-out, and yes we are over projections.  We also got our new email system functioning and made progress on the Web site.  And we got keys to the mailbox at Hill Center.

It has been a good day and we look forward to many more.
